This magnificent 15th Century coaching house, named after the first Lord deTabley’s white charger, has recently had a full refurbishment, including various restoration works.
This extensive, 6 month, project consisted of external refurbishments including windows & specialist lime plaster, maintenance of the listed building section of the pub, structural alterations, a new roof, with the existing chimney stack restored, a large freshly formed and laid patio with raised planters, a new lawn area with resin path and metal & timber fencing and a brand new tarmac car park. Internal works consisted of a full M&E package, partitions, ceilings, lowering of current & installation of new timber flooring, ceramic tiling, bespoke joinery, including a striking oak bar and the installation of log burners throughout.
