A new eclectic look for Ego

The refurbishment of Ego Sheffield City Centre for Mitchells & Butlers transformed the existing restaurant into a vibrant Mediterranean-inspired venue.

The works included internal strip-out and reconfiguration, new flooring and colourful tiling, feature planting, bespoke joinery, upgraded lighting and MEP installations, commercial kitchen works, and new furniture and decorative finishes. A key feature of the scheme was the integration of bespoke elements including rattan pendant lighting, feature artwork and specialist finishes, creating a distinctive day-to-night dining environment.

Delivered within an existing city-centre hospitality venue, the project required close coordination of multiple trades, specialist suppliers and the wider design team through to completion and handover.
