Glitz and glam for London restaurant

The Lírica refurbishment was primarily an existing-space hospitality fit-out, converting The Cumberland Hotel’s former Backstage Lounge into a Spanish restaurant rather than undertaking major structural works.

The scope included strip-out and enabling works, reconfiguration of the internal layout, new bar and bespoke joinery, alterations to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, fire alarm and other building services, new ceilings, flooring, wall finishes and decorative features, feature lighting and suspended pendants.

The works also required careful coordination and segregation within an operational hotel, including controlled deliveries, protection of guests and staff, temporary works, testing and commissioning, snagging and final handover
