The refurbishment of Maybush Medical Centre in Wakefield involved a comprehensive upgrade of the existing 825m² surgery to create modern, compliant facilities for patients and staff.
The works included refurbishment of consulting rooms and waiting areas, a new reception desk, interview and baby-changing rooms, an enlarged meeting room, new LED lighting throughout, energy-efficient boilers, pipework and low-surface-temperature radiators, automatic entrance doors and a new fire alarm system, with works carefully managed within an operational medical centre to minimise disruption to patients and staff.
